KBB CGI & Photography imagery You’ll love
We’ve thrown the kitchen (and bathroom) sink at these images
Quality CGI and photography massively enhances kitchen, bedroom and bathroom marketing, boosting conversion rates by 66% in lifestyle settings.
Below we take a look at 4 KBB image projects we’ve worked on and outline why we – and more importantly, our clients – love them.
Triflow Taps – Combining Photography and cgi
Clients often need to show off individual products, making them the hero, whilst showing them in context. Products shown in lifestyle scenarios are proven to sell more than stand alone images, so this is often a priority for KBB brands.
For this project we selected a high quality, relevant stock image to form the basis of the lifestyle shot. We then edited the textures, lighting and colours to create an elegant and moody feel that allowed the tap to stand out. It was vital to spend time detailing the lighting angles to ensure the reflections were realistic and highlighted the different finishes of the taps.
As you can see from these images, once the stock image had been edited and the original CGI modelled tap placed, we were able to efficiently repurpose the image for multiple colourways. In this instance you can see the Triflow Nickel tap (top) and Pewter (bottom).
As ever, our focus was on powerfully presenting the product and enabling efficient reproduction of the asset to give Triflow everything they needed without breaking the bank.

34 St. John – Lighting up the room
This image demonstrates many of the techniques discussed earlier in this article, combining CGI and photography to bring bathroom room-sets and products to life. You can see the detailed work on reflections in mirrors and careful management of lighting and shadows.
The reason we love this image though is the energy that flows from it. The careful composition and placement of the windows, vanity units and bath create a sense of space and elegance, truly bringing this luxury product to life.
Light and airy CGI and photography work brilliantly in combination to show off product features and colours, as seen in this shot. Of course, this bathroom image can be easily retouched to show different colours across the fixtures and even different backgrounds through the window.
We produce a huge range of images for 34 St. John, check out some of the others here.
A true champion of CGI and photography!
Farmiloes – Full bathroom cgi room-set
This project for Farmiloes was a prime example of maximising their budget by developing a full CGI room-set that allowed us to present their many products in different colours, and from different angles, without the need for extensive photo-shoots. Having designed the set and placed the first product, it was simple and efficient for us to repurpose the image with the units presented in multiple colours.
We love the modern sophistication of the colours used and the way in which the bathroom appliances frame the image, whilst maintaining the feeling of space in the bathroom. We spent a great deal of effort refining the lighting effects, shadows, and reflections to accurately portray how the room would feel if someone were stood at the same point
Renaissance at home – Radiating brilliance
CGI combined with photography has the potential to greatly enhance the impact of a product image…if done well. To do so requires a great deal of skill and experience – for instance, knowing how to bring light into the room, cast shadows, and accurately place reflections on objects in the room.
We love this image for Renaissance at Home, due to the skill that was needed to show off the sophistication of the matt covering with light beaming in through a nearby window.
The quality stock photo was combined with a CGI model we created of the radiator to show the product in a photorealistic lifestyle scenario.
